If you know anything about cryptic pregnancies, you know they don't announce themselves. There's no moment where you sit down and decide it's happening. It simply grows — quietly, naturally — until one day you realize something real has been there all along. That's the story of LIVLoved Foundation. You already know LIVLoved as the family support agency dedicated to walking alongside parents through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. But as we continued showing up for families, a harder truth kept surfacing: for some families, cost was a barrier to accessing the very support they needed most. For others, while Medicaid provided coverage, it didn't always extend to the more individualized, wraparound care their journey required. And we couldn't ignore either of those realities.
We didn't set out to build a nonprofit. We set out to serve families. To show up for parents during some of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of their lives. And somewhere in the middle of doing that work — the support calls, the postpartum visits, the wraparound support, the conversations that went far beyond what any appointment could hold — we looked up. We realized something had been growing that was bigger than us.
LIVLoved Foundation is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and it exists for one reason: no parent should ever feel alone or overwhelmed during pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood. By working with community partners, doulas, and funders, the Foundation ensures that families in our programs have access to the perinatal support they need — regardless of their financial situation. LIVLoved serves families. The Foundation makes sure cost is never the reason a family goes without. We are officially established on paper and are now building out our website and putting the infrastructure in place to pursue grant funding and accept tax-deductible donations — laying the groundwork to serve families in a bigger, more sustainable way.
